I have it (though it is not my only car). BMW 328i wagon. Fast enough to be entertaining, could do a track day, elegant enough to go out to dinner, can carry a gas grill home from Lowe's, comfortable enough to cross a continent with, gets good enough mileage to be a daily commuter, not ridiculously expensive, good enough in snow with snow tires on. It is the Swiss Army Knife of cars.

I'm torn between an S63 sedan and coupe. I don't need off road, but I want some that can be comfortable or sporty, but also be able to carry a couple friends or some weekend luggage. The sedan really makes more sense...but the ass on that coupe is hard for me to resist.

Nah I need an open bed. The only way to make my truck more perfect for me is to add 2 more doors. Sadly that was never an option in the states, which sucks

An HSV Maloo, or the sedan.
Practical, while also being mindblowingly impractical.

The four door sports car, of course!
But in all seriousness, I have no idea. Probably a 335xi with the M-sport stuff and extra power.

BOOM!
It's comfortable, nice to drive, quick enough to have fun in, can fit lots of people, gets reasonable highway gas mileage, and can haul a 4x8 sheet of plywood.

White actually. Though if they made a E250 4matic diesel wagon version, then definitely brown.

There is an infinite number of better cars, to put it mildly, but I'm still really pissed about getting rid my my Fleetwood and would love to have one back.
Hauling - check (7000lbs towing)
Manly truck things - not really, maybe with a trailer
Everyday commuting - check
Off roading/snow - snow, yes, off-roading, no
Cool - subjective, I think it is
Chicks dig it - yes/no, in my experience, some did
Track toy - not by design, but some people have hot rodded them

Hmm now that I think of it, my Tersad wagon satisfies many fields.
- good fuel economy
- 4wd when needed
- manual, to offset the whole 89 HP thing
- can fit tons of shit in. Tonsssss
- seats 5, in case I ever make friends
- """rare"""ish
- easy as hell to maintain
- durable, reliable
Hey— where did everyone go? :(

Sedan always makes more sense, but screw sense. My dad had 2 Audi coupes and we just slid the front seats forward back and crawled in, because we were tough back then, Goddamnit!

Already have her.
Inexpensive to buy,
cheap to run,
reliable,
limousine like legroom in the rear,
massive cargo space,
great on long drives,
economical,
inexpensive to tax and insure,
modest styling,
incredibly well thought out and executed.
